greeting cards have all been sent, the Christmas rush is through

I love mail time days and Christmas/Yule in general. It's very possibly my favorite holiday season (though specifically season and not holiday).

I'm still waiting on pretty much everything ever I ordered for anyone to arrive, since I couldn't order anything until a week and half ago. What little I could make of meeting ends to present the world may arrive late depending on shipping times.

Between this year's job-issues and last year’s foreign-shipping, I feel like the world is trying to make a point. I'm still deciding whether to listen or not. Christmas cards have all been sent out. Which there were around 70-ish this year in lieu of being able to do many packages.

The beginning of last week saw the huge batch. The last stragglers which required hunting down people for addresses went out this morning, and in the mail-returns I'm correcting errors I made on others and sending them back toward your directions as soon as possible.

I love going to the mailbox each day, Christmas cards abound cheerfully. I have several more now hanging out on the bookshelf now. (Thank you to thewinteroak, earthspirits, memoryanddream, aelora, My Second Mom/seshen & Family, My Gramma, and My Financial Services place.)

Also, added to under the tree is now pieces from crazyfurries, songtoisis and dragondreamfire. All of you are going to be my Yule morning next week. Family Christmas with Earl's family is the 24th and I go to Dallas with to see mine/Gordon's on 25th/26th.

Earl and I are pushing ours back and having a mini-Christmas, with dear friends who are coming down, on the morning of New Years Eve. Mini-Christmas has captivated me almost completely. There are so many plans.

And Yule is right now. RCG's Yule was Thursday, and Sacred Well's was last night. The big, big thing I've been creeping up to is tonight. I was personally, and affectionately, invited a few months back to take part in a circle of friends' end of year traditions in a completely different path from my own.

I'm waiting to know more before saying much about it, but it starts tonight, with Mother Night and an all night vigil, and runs to January 1st.
