February the 17 and 18: Cold cold cold, wet wet wet
Lovely weather we've been having, pouring raining, tons of wind, and at the height of it at all (6 am) my brother started the driving part of drivers ed. Lovely, so far so good though, he almost hit a trash can (but didn't, better than me, I nearly hit cars, in the parking lot though, not on the road) and is discovering (like I did and like our cousin Stephen did before him) that it's a lot harder to steer a car than you'd think. I'm so used to ice skating or bike riding where you don't think, your whole body just shifts the way you need to, that having to actually haul around the wheel is really strange. And then we were exchanging driving stories at lunch, particularly one where one of my friends was asked if he had committed any felonies, said no, had to get something, came back and said no, he still hadn't.
Anyway, the internet has been a bit busy for me lately, that's why I haven't been posting so much (I blame Soul Eater, the chapters are soooo long that they take forever to read but it's good) and I also had a headache today. I was actually wondering how in the world I'm going to get through college next year with these headaches, but then I remembered, it'll be easier. I'll be able to carry my own supply of food, water, and extra-strength Excerdian, be able to go outside when I really need to (that helps with my headaches A LOT, it's amazing how much actually) and will probably get a little more sleep. Well, if I get to bed around 11 and get up any time after 6:30 then it's more sleep, curse you bus rides. Oh, and our bus is still broken so we are now riding two buses to school and I got stuck on the short bus (NO COMMENT) so I got to school at like, eight this morning. Good thing the library was open, I really didn't want to do any reading on the Harlem Renaissance.
Well, gotta go, but first, I forgot to mention, lunch on Friday was amazing since we made paper air planes and nearly used them to send messages from the first level court yard to the second floor history rooms. :D Signing off!
