January the 28: Happy happy joy joy
Even though we were just at the used book store yesterday we went back today (my brother wants to get an xbox 360) and I came along with my store credit. I was browsing the manga section, look down, stop, double take.
There were like, 30 volumes of FMA there that hadn't been yesterday.
:D With my store credit (and 50 cents from my mom) I got the first seven volumes, and I love FMA and have been meaning to get it for a while. Plus, starting on Friday they will give you $5 store credit for every $25 you spend, but I wish they had started that today so I'd get 8 volumes of manga instead. Oh well, I'm sure there will be other opportunities, but still, this was awesome!
Let's see, also ran around the school in my socks, sleeves rolled up, watch off and shirt untucked so I could get some copics (I was at art club since tech was cancelled and decided to work on designing a logo for Fine Arts Day, I think I might actually have a chance this year!). School was a little hetic since it was career day for the sophomores and juniors (which meant that only the student body president and I were in Latin class, we did nothing!) and we got report cards in the after noon. I've got a 3.9 GPA now and my GPA for the school year so far (the other is my cumulative one) is a 4.17. This, along with 3 Bs and 3 As is also very good.
Also good, since the Koreans are threatening "cyber terrorism" if the Hetialia anime isn't stopped being aired on the interenet and have another petition going, the Hetalia LJ community is starting there own to keep Hetalia going! So go here and add your signitures! The Koreans got 16,000 (I think, and so far, the names have no been verified), I'm sure we could get more!
