January the 8, 9, and 10: I'm back!
Yup, my Chapel Hill admission tried to eat me the other day and then I got sucked into Natsume Yujin-cho yesterday so that's why I have posted. I beat back the application and am working on the two essays (which are both due the same day my two English papers are due, Murphy's Law huh?) but I got some scary news from App. No I'm not rejected, but I won't be finding out until the end of January, partially because they have gotten TWELVE THOUSAND applications so far. Holy sh-12,000?!? Alright, when I was in seventh grade, so 5 years ago, App was the easy school to get into, the one everyone who went to my high school could. Not anymore (curse their football team) and actually, a lot of my classmates have been getting rejections from previously "easy" state schools to get into like UNCW and UNCG (which I still need to apply to as well, crap!).
I found out a few days ago that Funimation was streaming some of the Romeo x Juliet episodes and just watched episode one. Ahhh, I think RxJ was the first episode I watched fansubbed, let's see, two years ago this spring, 10th grade, yup, that sounds about right, I had only recently learned about scanlations as well and it would have been a little bit of time before I found out about AZ through a random dA comment. Dangit Funi, give me ma DVDs soon! Just hurry up and dub it! Hmm, I already have RxJ as a tag, gonna see what else I have posted under it...
Anyway, not much else to say except that I'm going to sew Mr Mew's head again soon (third time had better be a charm, I don't have enough black fleece left!) and am going to start working on Amu's jacket next week incase I go to Animania at the end of the month. Gah, stupid papers are going to be taking up so much of my time though, signing off!
