September 14th: Why do I have a random stomach ache...

Sep 14, 2008 18:04

Well today has been tame, finished re-dyeing my sheet and hopefully my mom will put them through the wash in a day or two so I can sew my shirt in time for Friday's Brinsinger release (I'm in two minds about the Eragon series, but hey, midnight release parties are fun!). Been trying to work on my history paper on Daniel Carroll, but it is really hard to find information on him. I've got a book that is a biography on Maryland legislatures, a children's book on writing the Constitution, a book that is online that is part of a military history site, and some info from one of the museums in D.C. Once source also says that he was good friends with James Madison so I'll also use his ideas as a base for what my guy is saying, and it sounds like my guy was a total Federalist anyway. So, use facts when possible, B.S. all the rest, that's what I learned in Model UN anyway, the moderator of which is this same teacher. Seriously, when the vampire and I were trying to figure out if I counted as a model UN person (for our weekly crossfires the teacher said that two UN vets couldn't work together) and even though I only went in my freshman year I went to 3 different conferences one of which was Duke (DUMUNC) and for that conference we literally debated from 6 pm to midnight straight. It's a bad thing when your curfew is 1:30 not because the teachers don't care but because that's how long it takes to get back to the hotel and get two or three people showered. I have some seriously funny stories about model UN and curfews, for another time though.

Grr grr grr, having itunes issues. I'm trying to buy "The Saints are Coming" by U2 and Green Day and I'm having issues. Well, the first one is that you can't buy the studio version unless you buy a whole album so I have to settle for the live performance one (you know, I thought one of the POINTS about buying online was so that you could pick and choose your songs instead of having to buy the whole dang CD). And no itunes is being screwy, it keeps saying there are problems so I can't buy it and then the money for the song vanish yet it hasn't popped up in my purchased area, nor has the downloading area popped back up to let me know that I'm down loading it. Grumble grumble grumble, but I am trying out the new Genius thing to make some new soundtracks, powers above know that I need some knew ones. I just hope the song issue gets resolved soon, I need to charge my ipod tonight and I don't want to do it if my new songs are missing. Err err err, not happe.

I've got nothing else to say really, I'm trying to figure out how many Kobato chapters I can fit on my USB though, I have to redownload them every time and I'm not really using that USB for anything...
Signing off!
