September 4th: Grrr, I WANNA EAT!
Man, I feel hungry right now, but I feel so nasueated when I look at food. Scratch that, when I THINK about food, stupid anitbotics! And they give me that weird taste in my mouth, most foods taste strongly enough that I don't notice it, but for some reason my milk tastes so weird, and milk is my favorite drink! I'm trying to eat toast now, I've been eating a lot of carrots and was having a fruit salad for lunch, past tense since the half dad fly we found on the food later grossed me out. Hope mom got plums from the store... yay she did!
In other news, I haven't been wearing my contacts lately since A) I get up too early in the morning to bother and B) My brother ran out of contact solution and has had to use my supply. My mom says it's okay that I not wearing contacts (it helps that I haven't opened up a new set yet so the money isn't being wasted), but I remember, before I got contacts I couldn't understand why people who had them would switch back to glasses. I do now, contacts can be so painful! It doesn't help that I have blue eyes and apparently people with blue eyes have a harder time wearing contacts (not sure why, I believe one of the theories is because blue eyes are paler than other colors, and mine are really light, that they are more sensitive to dust and other particles that get into the eye, which is a bit what a contact is like).
Totally not related but I love my lunch table. Since shader is my only close friend in my lunch period and my lunch is the biggest one we started sitting with a Brandon and some of his friends (ironically enough some of them know shader from middle school, then again, if I know two people then they usually know each other as well, maybe you say that we are all part of a giant click?) And wow, the conversations we have, we probably end up laughing for half of the period and it just feels so fun. Of course some of the thing said are lewd (we ARE teenagers after all) and some of the stuff is just strange (apparently stale Bugels taste really nasty, prompting the people who tried them to eat the previously scorned bananna nut muffin). It's just life, full of good times, funny things, but some sad stuff as well. I never understand the people who go "LIFE SUCKS AND THEN YOU DIE!", life is good at times and bad at others, I don't know if it balances out in the end but I intend to see that it does.
Not much else to say, read the manga WANTED the other day (it's only three short stories long) and am in two minds about it. It was cute and cliched at the same time, but I think that if I can find it cheap online I'll probably get it. Gotta work on homework now, signing off.
