Thank goodness it's Friday indeed, I really need to sleep in (although my art teacher seemed to be in favor of getting everyone to call my house before 10 to wake me up, this is the same teacher who was discussing techniques with me for how to destroy my altered book when I was done with it).
So anyway, yesterday in art class my classmates (once again) tried to make the altered book 70% of our exam. They didn't realize (until I thought of it and asked) but this book will be 60% of our quarter grade regardless of it is our exam or not. So I think that finally quelled it.
Today was quite and I was sleepy (well, except for math class, but I wanted to kill something there, couldn't figure out what we were doing, no one was explaining it so I could understand and since our teacher is supposed to do that and he never does I wanted to kill him. What? As long as I'm in school I might as well learn something...). Oh and in art class I was forced to pose and have my profile drawn. I mentioned how C-G and I are working on a banner and the words for it are "speak kindly" and we were thinking of having a face and word bubbles. Our teacher suggested that we use a profile and since I said mine was too strong they grabbed me and made me sit still. Also because I was wearing one of the hats in the room (since we had gone outside to do a bit of spray painting) and it looked kinda flower child-ish and yeah that's what happened.
Oh and shader and I had some interesting conversations today. First one, two days ago I linked to one of the entries in Scott Westerfields blog that dealt with the Missing Black Women Formation. I mentioned to shader how he had shown the republicans as agent smith and she said that last night she had been watching a movie and there was a guy who looked EXACTLY like Agent Smith on screen. At this point she ran upsatirs, put on a black hoodie, matrix style sunglasses, went back downstairs, grabbed a power drill and an air gun and pointed it at the tv in a very matrix-esque style.
We later were talking about how the ending of the manga Anne-Freaks ended so badly, but I'll have to talk about that tomorrow since my time is almost up.
Scratch that, it probably is, time flies when you're reading Kobato...
