November the 23rd: Whew, home for now

Nov 24, 2010 00:43

Crap, I still haven't packed for tomorrow then, gah, I foresee it's going to end up being like how I packed this afternoon, grab, toss, and pray it all fits. Of course, I didn't mean to have that little time to pack this afternoon either, it's just that my dad showed up right as I was done with my shift (hell, I knew he was going to do this too, even though I told him I wasn't done with work until two and was going to need more time). Lovely, also found out last night that the teacher for my 9 am also canceled class, which is kinda annoying because then I had no actual classes today (ie, no reason to stick around) but more annoying because I haven't used photoshop in a good long while and would have really liked to be able to ask some questions about it. Gah, at least I have two of my six prints down and, if they others are that easy (unlikely as it is) I should be able to finish them up pretty quickly, fingers crossed about this!
So, went to class, worked, cleaned, got home, showed Sherlock to my mom (who liked the first episode quite a bit, as I suspected she would), and talked, that was about my day. Now, it's late and I have waayy too much stuff to pack so I'm going to get off. Fair warning however, I had a hell of a time trying to get my laptop to reconnect to the internet here and I know that both of my sets of grandparents have odd wi-fi settings so there is a chance I might not post again until Saturday (which would drive me bonkers since I really want to keep updating my NaNo word count so I at least know what I'm doing). So, fingers crossed that I do get internet but I really doubt it's gonna happen, dammit.
