November the 22nd: Getting stuff done...
Just still not as much stuff as I hoped. Last night I had been thinking and remembered that the computers in the tech building (in this little area in the photography wing) also had CS5 and also had their screens calibrated and, in theory, I should be able to access the server I stored my photos on and work on them a little bit there but nope, couldn't find them at all. I suspect either the school server is wonky (I've got no evidence to the contrary, I think it's making hulu act up again too) or I saved them wrong (also likely but less so) and I'm a little frustrated since that meant I didn't get a chance to work on them at all today. Hoping I have time in class tomorrow but, with how long my teacher usually goes on, I suspect I'll be frustrated there as well.
So, other than that, classes were fairly normal today, except for the fact that my friend finally remembered to bring me yaoi. XD Just FYI, I never requested this or anything, not that I was going to say no but anyway! Most people, when they get softcore porn (because seriously, that's what this is) from a friend they put it in their bag and hide it there right? Well, we kinda showed it to all of our friends to get their reactions. XD Most were bemused, one complained that it was censored a bit and one strongly objected to this and started whacking me on the back (seriously felt like my life turned into a comedy anime at that point, then again that's rather normal for my Japanese class...). Finally got some work done on the Japanese take home test, that I actually will be bringing home over the break to work on, not sure how much time I'll have but I should be able to knock out another section or two.
Gah, can't wait to get home but haven't had a chance to pack yet (well, that and the fact that my suitcase would take up a good bit of the floor space in here, it's called The Blue Whale for a reason ya know) so hopefully I'll find time to do that tomorrow. Although, I was just rounding up a few things and I think I figured out why my ipod hasn't been charged in a while, better remember to steal my bother's charger once I get home.....
