Not a bad place to be all considering, back ways and air-conditioning? Plus, that stereotype about librarians being crotchety old ladies who anything liberal? Um, yeah, that must've died a loooonnnggg time ago.
Me: *holds up book entitled 77 Karamac Sex Positions* Um, are we allowed to sell this?
Volunteer/librarian person: Sure, we just have to be a bit careful so no one gets offended. Had someone complaining about a book that had masturbation in it recently....
And before someone asks, with a title like that I had to flip through the book. Never knew some people could get so creative. o_O O_o XD
So, because of the timing I had to go along with my mom to her office this morning and it was after that I got over to the library (late too, gah, my mom was giving an exam and some people will take the ENTIRE time, jeezus, if it gets that late then clearly you don't know what you should and should just put down what you know and go). And that took most of my day, did some reading in my mom's office (Boneshaker, not liking it as much as some people have and Finally finished Valley of Fear in the Sherlock Holmes book, only another 300 pages or so!) and some browsing on tvtropes since that was about as much as my mom's work computer without crashing. Resulted in a few funny FB statuses, need to get involved in tvtropes since I think I can fill in information on a few pages.
Not much else to say again, it's funny, even though with volunteering my days are fuller they're still nothing like the craziness of college, didn't realize that I liked my life that packed. Makes sense though, when I think about how much time I spent in high school/commuting/working on homework that was most of my time, guess I'm not quite sure what to do with myself with so much free time.
Anyway, signing off, tomorrow, sewing!
