June the 14th and 15th: Four days of rain now...

Sorry for not posting yesterday, got a really big headache that just wouldn't go away and I was kinda out of the whole evening. Sure that went down well at 10,000 villages, went there for volunteer orientation but my headache was distracting enough that I was kinda lethargic. And, since I can only volunteer during the summer, they don't want to do all the training for me to be a sales associate so I'll probably end up being a greeter or unpacker (which is much less impressive to put on resumes/job applications).
Speaking of job applications, did some calling at school today and found out that the Student Union had already hired everyone for the Fall semester ( o_o ) and found out when to try for the spring semester. Thankfully food services isn't full yet and when I said I was still back home for the summer they said to drop by with the right papers before classes and that should work out. And I'll call the library probably early July to make sure I didn't send in my application at the wrong time and it got deleted. On Monday when I was job hunting around UNCG (not much luck) at the Resonably Priced Art Supply Store they said they might hire help for the textbook rush and to come back around the third week of July, will do that for sure and I'll be sure to say that I've worked part time in a library and have two (hopefully three at that point, need to bug them again tomorrow as well) years experience working in the Booklover's Cafe so this is right up my alley.
Let's see, started work on the Toothless plushie the other day, only had enough fabric for the head but my mom says she might buy me more fleece to finish it and I still have tons of little projects to finish/revise as well. Started watching Firefly and that OP theme is really catchy. Interested so far, think it must be a Whedon thing to have the OP so far into the body of the show, and I'll just see how it goes. Also dropped by Ed McKay's yesterday (after buying my dad some cycling socks for a father's day gift, I really like the bikes that shop has, think mine came from it) and scooped up FMA volumes 9, 10, 14, and 15 plus Alice 19th volume 2. And all of that, except for 50 cents, came from store credit too so I'm good there.
And I forgot both days to work on the nanomango, which I guess means I need to finish sketching it tomorrow? That'll be fun, and then I'll have to clean up/ink two pages a day (digitally since I'm down to one inking pen, plus it's a small sketchbook). Might try to get a page or two in now actually, signing off!
