April the 29th: I've already spent an hour and a half studying history today...

and will probably put in another half an hour before bed. Lovely, ugh, having three exams is hard because of all the studying you have to do the night before. No, not just studying the night before, but you want to review everything then, right? So it ends up taking for-freaking-ever. x_X
Let's see, returned textbooks today (and there was no one else there so it took no time at all), got a milk crate and another box from Angela (both full, got all my books in the milk crate and dang it's heavy!), and took my Japanese exam. I got there early and almost freaked out because everyone was working on a paper (I thought it was another paper we had to do before the test, everyone who came in after me flipped out thinking they had forgotten the exam time) and I got done with that in about an hour. Feel fairly confident, wasn't sure on one part (and realized later I could've done part of it another way) but I think I did well there. It's really interesting how I went from my freshman/sophomore year of high school convinced that languages weren't my thing to doing fairly well at them (and I am pretty sure part of the problem is that I choose the "dead language" back in high school and the speaking practice helps me out).
So, tomorrow I end up brain dead (and hopefully we go to the Broyhill again, Olivia tried to make reservations today but it was full and she still has a ton of money on her card) and be glad that I'm not doing laundry since I'll have no time for it. Hmm, wonder what I'll do Saturday, I propose going to the greenway, but I'd rather not head off by myself. But I do want to take advantage of my last full day in the mountains for three and a half months. Funny note, even though it's almost May here it still doesn't feel like spring. Sure some stuff is blooming and my allergies are acting up, but I've needed a blanket and a fleece the past few days and a lot of trees don't seem to be blooming. Think I understand my mom's complaint of Cleveland now, winter winter blinkspringblink summer. It's gonna be so odd to go back and be in early summer, almost feel like I'm being cheated out of something. Signing off!
