Went to Walmart but I wasn't quick enough to catch the bus back to campus (I blame the older woman in front of me who took forever in the "12 items or less" line, yes I know you likely don't get out much and love to chat to the similarly aged employees, HOWEVER, you most likely have a car, I have sandals) so I had to walk. Took about 40 minutes so, haven't checked how fast my mile is in awhile, that was somewhere between 2.5 and just under 3 miles of walking (think that last 3/4 or mile was just campus actually, it's a long campus). The length wasn't bad but when you factor in that I was either crossing a road or a store driveway every 50 feet or so (seriously, this is the busiest stretch of road in the whole town) so I was constantly having to keep an eye on six or so cars at a time, it was kinda stressful. Actually, there was something going on in the stadium today (think it was some sort of track meet, I just know that the parking lot isn't that crowded on football weekends technically and I saw a ton of charter buses all day) so the traffic may have been worse than normal.
Not unhappy that I went however, I needed more black yarn and fabric paint for my projects and it was good to get them and get them out of the way. After that excursion (nothing quite weird enough for an adventure) I headed over to the lab and got my three prints up and mounted (and others agree, no matter how carefully you measure the mat board you just can't get the lines to be straight). Noticed a poster by the dry mount press that had a lot of clever sayings like that (all photo related of course) but I can't seem to find it on google, need to look at it again Monday (the problem with college, multiple teachers use one classroom so good luck finding out who put any of that stuff up). All done with my final critique, now all I have to do is figure out if I have any photos I want to print and mount for my dad for father's day.
Hmm, watched a lot of anime today but I'm too tired now to write it up. And still hungry, dangit why am I so hungry in the evenings?!? Morning, not really, afternoon, eh, evening GIVE ME DINNER NOW....two hours later ANOTHER MEAL NOW. It's kinda annoying to stuff myself at dinner and still be hungry later, geeze, not like I even did anything to burn calories. See if milk helps out any here, signing off.
