March the 20th: Running across campus...
...in the dark, at night, in the chilly air, under a chesire moon. Yeah, not one of my brighter moments but the alternative (Safe Ride) didn't sound so smart either.
So, I watched Doctor Who today and that was about it. Seriously, 9 episodes from, um, the season that's called one but was actually in 2005? Yeah, I'm liking it alright too. Not, "OH MY GOD, WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?!?" but since it's more episodic than central plot driven that's a given. Liz and, crap, I STILL don't know the name of the other girl (told you guys that names/faces don't stick with me, besides, it's actually amazing how long you can go in conversations without saying someone's name, think English is a bit special for that) had the marathon over in their dorms in East (aka, the Honors Hall). Holy, that's gotta be the biggest dorm on campus (the number, 600 people, is coming to mind) and the rooms are bigger than mine by a third or a fourth. Plus they have sinks, clearly the smart kids are better loved than the average ones here.
Oh dear, I went to see how long the tvtropes page was for Doctor Who and found it has an ENTIRE page in the "fetish fuel" section. I am alternating between giggling and blushing (so, just hoping my roommate doesn't come in at a weird time again, not that she hasn't heard/seen me giggle like a maniac before over tvtropes). So, read a little more tvtropes and then shower. Then, um, if I'm still standing I will comb my hair and then bed. Hope I'm still standing anyway, my hair has hit shoulder length so it's starting to put up a fight when I comb it these days, signing off!
...oh dear, I have just found that the alternative title for the "aliens in Cardiff" page is "aliens in Cleveland." Worse still they describe Cleveland to a T on it's own page, right down to how all the residents see it.
