March the 19th: Drive by post
Today was fun, minus the stress from getting my three prints mounted today. But the evening with friends (after a super warm day, holy it got up to 60! Sunbathers, hippies, bongo drums, guitars, stereos and more hammocks than you can shake a decent sized stick at where everywhere! Seriously, I need to get my camera working to show y'all the crazy places we put up hammocks). Tonight involved:
1. A laser pointer and the fact that Chynna's window faces another dorm where we can see the floor lobbies. Hilarity and a slight burning smell ensue.
2. Um, somehow (think I start this) we all ended up messing with each other's hair after Iron Man and while watching the Dawn of the Dead remake (LAME, they didn't even know what zombies were!). This, along with some catchphrase we saw in a commercial ("Rowdy control" or something like that) renedered us incapable of having serious conversations.
3. Durarara! Need I say more? XD Seriously, even though both Wiki and tvtropes had given me some spoilers, episode 11 was stick kick-ass (plus, would that cameo be considered canon? Since, while it is acknowledged that Baccano and DRRR are in the same universe, along with Vamp!, I don't think anything like that ever happened).
4. So today was good, checking LJ right before I post this, and found that the early translation of the next Pandora Hearts chapter was up. Total win as well, betting on the next chapter being super dark along with a mini arc in it as well after how fluffy this one is.
Now, the only thing that could make this more awesome (this weekend seems to be set up for awesome, Doctor Who marathon tomorrow and the warmest weather since September all weekend) is if the dang scanlation for Letter Bee would turn up. But that's just a pipe dream, wouldn't be too hard to have one of those around here anyway.... signing off, hoping the sunrise doesn't wake me up again. >.
