Feburary the 9th and 10th: ....it's blizzarding out there
Alright, if I have one more class canceled I'm going to go batshit crazy. Seriously, I had my last canceled Tuesday, we were SOL for S-O-L(Slice-Of-Life) night at anime club, and then all my classes after my Japanese test (for which I walked uphill, in the snow, both ways, IN A BLIZZARD, with not enough outwear, for) were canceled. Plus, no class=the labs aren't open, so I'll be skipping Japanese Friday (it's optional for my class actually since we already took the test, lordy, wish I had remembered to study the new vocab, we hadn't been using it at all so I totally forgot) so I can develop film super fast, race down to my class a floor below it, take a quiz, and then head home for the weekend.
Oh, and Watagua is almost out of salt money. I suppose this never happened in Cleveland since we had a slat mine under Lake Erie, but it's not a happy thought. Really feeling the cabin fever, it was just too bad outside today (the definition of a blizzard is "a snowstorm with sustained winds of at least 35 mph reducing visibility to less than one-quarter mile for at least three hours" and we had that all day, I was whited out once or twice walking across campus) so I can't go anywhere, can't move my computer because of my delicate Ethernet cable (long story short, the little tabs that are essential so that the cord doesn't fall out of the sockets broke off and I'm holding the cord in via eletric tape, so I'm trying not to move it), and a lack of reading materials I'm interested in (never read On the Road when you're half asleep, it will make less sense than normal) has left me bored. All classes before 12:30 are canceled, but my first class isn't until 12:30 anyway, lucky me. Plus, since I'm going home, I need to remember to do laundry tomorrow, better start it as soon as I get up.
But it hasn't been all bad, apparently DC hasn't had a homocide in a week (which has got to be a record) and I claim partially responsibility for this.
So yeah, not sure what to do with myself now, penultimate episode of Moribito I suppose?
