April the 15: And the weather clears up...
... just as I get enough things to do to amuse myself with. XD That's how life is isn't it? I cleaned some windows today for money (and the bathroom mirrors but that was because last night I couldn't find a clean bit of mirror to peer at myself with, and we have three mirrors!) but my brother seriously needs to re-clean the outside parts, they're so streaky! And no it isn't me, I checked, grumble, I'll probably have to clean the outside of my windows myself, mutter mutter.
Also had strong glares with my sewing today. The sleeves on Kobato's shirt were proving stubborn today, I think I got them to work though. Also got the folds, well, folded, now I just need to figure out how exactly I'm doing the button holes. I think I'm going to fold the fabric over to make it more sturdy, but will the sewing be too obvious.... after this all I need to do is put on the trim (HA, all I say, that alone will take me awhile) and I'm so glad that my new sewing machine has a button setting. So I should be done with the shirt tomorrow, later than I wanted but I can live. I got wood today for my shelves as well and I can get patterns for a pencil skirt off the internet tomorrow, I think, so I'll definitely be keeping up with my projects. If I can finish almost all of my cosplay stuff by May I'll be in super shape, more time to earn more AA and dealer's room money.
Let's see, not much else to say. I'll probably head over to B&N tomorrow to pick up a copy of Yen Press to try, it'd better stay sunny tomorrow, but I could carry an umbrella, that's a sure fire way to make sure it doesn't rain! Yeah, I'll do that, signing off!
