March the 5, 6, and 7: Yay for three day posts!

Not much has happened in the past few days. Actually, I didn't have school on Friday (it was already scheduled as a no school day, it looks like some school's that didn't have Friday off are going to have to have school on SATURDAYS), but since I was dealing with some major cramping it was for the best. Seriously, this is what cramps feel like (not by me, credit to artist). So I was working on my Latin project yesterday and today, battling cramps, went to the library yesterday (actually got a number of books out, I had requested a few books that I had seen at B&N and two came in). Also entering a contest to win the last Pendragon book signed by D.J. MacHale, all I need to do is mail in an entry form and I don't even need to get it signed since I'm 18 now! Wohoo for being legal! Actually, I remember last year one of the seniors was hiding out in my art class since he had apparently gotten his (now mine) religion teacher angry for signing his own permission form. She would get a little prissy over that...
Speaking of religion, shader has created two awesome moments in religion class in the past two days.
Scene one:
*we are doing "Tell Me Something Good" from our weekends*
shader: Well, I cleaned my room this weekend and my dad gave me a bribe for it.
teacher: Oh, what did you get?
shader: A WWII Russian sniper rifle that can take down someone half a mile away.
teacher: *shunned facial expression*
Yeah, turns out its from WWI, not II, hasn't been cleaned once, is nearly 4 feet tall, and the scope only starts at .6 miles away (so shader can't snipe gangbangers from the roof of her house like she said she would).

Scene two:
*shader is giving her service horu project and has to say how the experience changed her*
Shader: And their would be times when the teachers would come in *she was forced to volunteer at her old middle school* and want their stuff down now, and even though I wanted to finish whatever I was doing at the time I learned to put others first....
teacher: *disapproving look*
I think it was the way shader put it "I just wanted to finish what I was doing" that got her. Catholics are always supposed to put others before themselves, but usually people think of putting work before leisure, not other's work before the equally important work that they are already doing. And I honestly have no idea how much bull crap she was saying...
Let's see, we keep moving on through our Harlem Renaissance project and man, some of my classmates are sooo unprofessional! Giggling to each other as they present, holding a conversation with someone in the audience (who is being equally rude, these aren't interactive presentations), but I can't blame anyone who has tried to show a video and had bad luck with it. For some reason google video works on the school computers but not my teachers, one group couldn't go at all since they were going to have the music (they did jazz) going on in the background while they talked. And then one group wasn't prepared since "they weren't expecting to go," bullcrap, you were supposed to be ready to go TWO WEEKS ago! Poopie on you!
Ahem, since I have degenerated into name calling, I blame the paint, mold remover, and spackle fumes from the fit of home renovation my mom has gone into. Signing off!
