So ... I've just ordered a bunch of take-out from a nearby Chinese restaurant.  The guys says that he's going to have to call me back to confirm the order and he'll give me the total charge then.  (What???)  So I hang up and less than 10 seconds later, he calls back:

"Jennifer?"
"Yes."
"Hi, I'm calling from name of restaurant to confirm your order."

Thursday I made lentil soup.  It was cloudy and cold all day and soup seemed right.  With chewy bread and pinot grigio.  Mmm.
Yesterday I went swimming.  It was cloudy yesterday, too, but I swam anyway and felt accomplished.  I had leftover soup for dinner, with a chunk of parmesan cheese to nibble, as well.

The library is my new addiction. More accurately, the online catalog search engine of the JeffCo Public Library is my new addiction. I can search all the county libraries from one spot and then request books which will be brought to the location of my choice for me to pick up ( Read more... )
