So, apparently I'm still obsessing processing.

Sympathy for the Parents aired here last night... here (for my new flisties!) is Australia, by the way.

Knowing what I know now about the shenanigans of the season finale, it became so much more of an "OH!" experience re-watching this ep. Here's why...

Derek telling Meredith that he doesn't want her to be alone if anything happens to him. Has there been a bigger anvil?!

I swear like half my flist's reaction after that was "okay, so something must happen to Derek in the finale...". Subtlety, Shonda, learn it.

That is a hell of a lot of parallels you've got there my dear. And, for the record, I totally care, it reminds me of things I miss.

Yeah, there are a fair few... I may be stretching with some of them, but I believe them and hey, that's all that matters!

So glad that you care. Makes me feel like maybe I'm not quite so silly afterall.

I was just so excited when this episode rolled around to have an Alex episode (I won't get into my rant about him never getting storylines, I will just say, once again Oh, Alex).

I just did a rewatch of the first 5 seasons a couple of months ago and it's so interesting to watch everything knowing what's going to happen, and to go back and see how different I felt about certain things knowing what I know now, so I enjoyed seeing this.

I know right? And then three friggen quarters of it was taken up by ass Owen. Man, I was mad about that!

Yeah, it was would be super interesting to watch season 1/2 again now and think that George is dead, Izzie is gone, Alex has been shot, Mer has miscarried and Cris is the one almost begging a guy to choose her. So much has changed.

Yeah, I don't understand, never have, never will why they don't more with him. Sigh.

It was really, really interesting, and fun, to watch again, and see things I hated originally and loved now, and things I didn't like now that I liked then. And the few things I felt about the same about. Funny how your opinion on things can change.
