I was considering watching Stranger Things but I didn't get to it before it blew up and now I'm purposefully staying away until everyone stops talking about it. I've realized in the last few years that I'm very susceptible to what other people think about shows/movies so I try to get to anything that may interest me before talking to anyone so that I can form my own, influence free, opinions. I've had to adjust my free time to make sure I can watch as many shows live/the same night as I can and I now go see movies opening weekend while avoiding reviews. It's a lot harder than just letting my DVR fill up until the weekend (which was my old system and invited a flood of opinions from others that always influenced how I reacted) but I can say with 100% confidence that I did or did not enjoy the show or movie I just watched.

Moving on, I'm so with you on Grey's. It's better for my blood pressure to just pretend it ended shortly after Izzie left so that's what I do. My rewatches mostly focus on the good core intern episodes (you know my aversion to those stupid shipper and mashup names and, in the interest of fairness, I must extend it to friendship names as well-even when they are 100% accurate). It's a lot of fun to revisit those early episodes.

I also agree with you on Orphan Black. I loved learning more about Beth and that was such a smart move that I credit it with finally getting Tatiana enough notice for them to give her the Emmy.

Since you don't seem to have the same issue I do when it comes to what others think about shows, I would like to recommend The Good Place and American Crime Story: OJ Simpson if you can get a hold of them. The former is a comedy from Mike Schur, who brightened the world with Parks and Recreation, and it's very funny and delightful. The latter is a look at the insanity of the time surrounding when OJ was arrested and tried for the murder of his ex wife and one of her friends and it is much more awesome than anyone could have predicted.
