The TV show meme thing that's doing the rounds at the moment, what better way to make something of a comeback to LJ?
Which TV shows did you start watching in 2016?
The Kettering Incident, Billions, Stranger Things (only one episode so far though), Midnight Sun, Skam, Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life, Shadowhunters, Happy Valley, and No Activity.

Which TV shows did you let go of in 2016?
The Good Wife. I actually kinda quit before it ended and haven’t seen the last half a dozen or so episodes. I can’t yet decide if I’m interested in the Diane Lockhart spin-off, but I’ll probably check the premiere out. I’d like Cary to show up in that, and if he does, then I’ll be more likely to watch. I am a total fan-girl and I have no regrets about it. I justify this by pointing out that Diane and Cary have a fascinating relationship and I want to see more of this, but that’s a thin excuse at best! I just want more Logan Huntzburger in my life. DO NOT JUDGE ME.
I also let go of Quantico, but I don't really know why. Maybe I'll catch up.
Which TV shows did you keep watching in 2016?
I added this question, because it seems important!
Narcos, Sense8, Orphan Black, You're the Worst, Homeland, Fargo, Game of Thrones, House of Cards, Code Black, Better Call Saul, Offspring, Orange is the New Black, The Affair, Transparent, UnREAL, and Masters of Sex

I just checked my Stan and Netflix logs. Looks like I watched A LOT of Breaking Bad and The West Wing in 2016!
Which TV shows did you mean to get into, but didn’t, in 2016?
Stranger Things. Everyone keeps telling me to watch this, but I’ve not yet made it past episode one. It was okay, but it didn’t completely grab me like, say, The OA already has.
I am taking recommendations for others if there are any glaring omissions from the list above!
Which TV shows do you intend on checking out in 2017?
As mentioned, I’ve already started The OA a couple of days ago and am absolutely loving it. So my cup of tea it’s not even funny. Three episodes down, five to go.

I also want to watch 3%, Twin Peaks, and Designated Survivor.
Which TV show impressed you least in 2016?
I’d have to say Stranger Things as it’s the only one I didn’t stick with. Oh, and The Good Wife, I guess. Also, The Affair just isn’t quite what I wanted it to be (or what the first half of season one seemed to promise), but I’m still watching and it is still delivering the odd moment of ‘holy shit’ I didn’t know I wanted until it gave it to me.
Which TV show do you think you might let go of in 2017 unless things significantly improve?
There’s nothing really on my hit-list at the moment. I’m not particularly invested in Homeland anymore, but will no doubt be watching, if only to see how they ‘miraculously cure’ Peter Quinn.
Which TV shows do you think you’ll never let go of, no matter how crappy they get?
Given my complete abandonment of Grey’s Anatomy I can absolutely guarantee that NO SHOW IS SAFE FROM MY WRATH!
Removing the ‘no matter how crappy they get’ part of this question though, and just going with the ‘which TV shows do you think you’ll never let go of?’ part, then I can also say Grey’s Anatomy. I re-watched seasons 1-3 in 2016 and plan to re-watch 4-6 in 2017. As far as I’m concerned, there are no more seasons and everything is gloriously awful and dysfunctional and broken and beautiful and healing and Izzie Stevens turned up. Afterwards, she turned up.
See also, Breaking Bad! I re-watched the entire thing in 2016. #noregrets. ‘Ozymandias’ remains one of the best pieces of entertainment I’ve ever witnessed.
Which TV show did you enjoy most in 2016?
Better Call Saul, The Kettering Incident, and Code Black, all for very different reasons! Better Call Saul for its beautiful, character-driven story-telling, The Kettering Incident for its mystery and cinematography and the fact that it was set in Tasmania, and Code Black for its fuss-free easiness and casting of Emily Tyra (who I fell in love with during Flesh and Bone and who continues to delight me in allllll the ways).
OH! I also think Orphan Black was back to some of its best in 2016! BETH! SO MUCH BETH!
Oh, OH! And Happy Valley was absolutely bloody harrowing in the best way. I have never watched anything like it and can’t wait to access season two. If you’re considering watching this, you will need some serious fortitude, just FYI.
