Something TERRIBAD happened!!! I was ~just starting to get properly into the show (it's only taken me the best part of three seasons!) when my housemate and I discovered a TRAVESTY OF EPIC PROPORTIONS!!!

Netflix Australia only has the first three seasons so far. OMG WHAT NOW?!

Nope, we don't have Hulu here. I even went looking for the DVD and couldn't even find that. RUDE!

The Louis Litt Show with special guest appearances from Donna.

Yes, actually, you are absolutely correct. And Louis+Donna interactions are the best of all the Louis+someone interactions.

I really need to find a way to watch season four.

I've watched Transparent! It's soooo good, I was surprised it was done well. I was so impressed with how the dad from Arrested Development could play this character.

Isn't it??! All the characters are just so... I don't know... real? Or something? Like, it's almost as though you're watching a documentary. Very, very well done.

I have seen transparent. I think I am missing the last episode, dunny why, i should get back to that sometime. I love it.

It has those beautiful 80s flashbacks, but even the things that aren't flashbacks have a period feel? I have no idea how to describe it, but it just looks so consistent. And it feels a little like a documentary. The acting is cool (except i hate that one change of actress after the pilot, ugh).

A trans lj friend confirmed that it is very realistic.

I did a rec post on it back when i watched it in December (http://tinnny.livejournal.com/254566.html), not that I say anything there that I haven't said in the two sentences above. ;)

In other words, YES! I agree with everything you've said! Especially about the consistent cinematography.
