When I was backpacking in LA about 5 years ago we stayed at the Banana Bungalow. It was cheap, central and awesome!

Oh, I stayed there, too, in 1996. It was loud and full of students and not the most hygienic place, but it was cheap and we found it was okay.

We booked it! We've all stayed in hostels before so we're not expecting too much! Just a cheap place to sleep. We booked a private room with private bathroom so we kinda cheated a little bit :)

I'm still sad you aren't coming to Texas on this epic trip of yours :)

There are pretty much a million hotels in Anaheim. Most of them, if they aren't in actual walking distance, have free shuttles to Disneyland. If you could get a good rate, I'd totally stay at one of the Disneyland hotels, because they are awesome, but they are also usually really pricey. I did scan Travelocity for you and there is a Hilton that's like a block away that looks like it's only about $120 a night, which is pretty good for that area. There are cheaper ones than that, but they are sometimes the more questionable choices. If you have a price range, though (and the dates), I'd be happy to search around for you. I've been to Anaheim a million times (though most of them were day trips, so I haven't stayed overnight all the much).

I am sad toooooo! But it will give me a reason to COME BACK!

We've looked at the DL hotels but they're a bit out of the budget unfortunately. We're looking at pretty much exactly what you've listed here, $120 per night (including breakfast and wifi if possible). Dates are the nights of the 13th and 14th of August. I would LOVE for you to have a look! I mean, I've looked until my eyes clouded over, but I really don't know what I'm looking AT! If that makes sense?!!

So yeah, rec. away!!

I totally wish I could help you :( BUt when I went to LA I ended up staying with friends just cause it was the cheapest way. Do you know anyone that lives down there that you can ask about staying them? Otherwise I would say instead of a hotel maybe look into inns? Idk.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help! Good Luck! <3

I don't unfortunately. But I am staying with a friend in another state for a few days so that is very awesome :)
