I'm trying to book accommodation in Anaheim and Los Angeles and OMG, I AM SO OVERWHELMED!!! PLEEEEEASE HELP ME, FLISTIES!
I need recommendations for places to stay in both, and, in LA, a recommendation for general vicinity to base ourselves. We only have two nights and mostly want to see Hollywood and Santa Monica (I know, I know!). Because of price, we've basically decided upon staying somewhere in Hollywood and just bussing to Santa Monica for the day. The places in our budget in the Santa Monica area are between a one and two hour walk from the pier which pretty much defeats the purpose of staying there. DOES THIS DECISION MAKING PROCESS MAKE SENSE?!
We're not necessarily needing something super budget, but we are essentially backpacking so, not too expensive either. OH, SO HARD TO PLEASE! In Anaheim, we want to be within walking distance of Disneyland (duh!), and in Hollywood, we want something within walking distance of most of the attractions/shopping/clubs/restaurants/public transport etc.
