Mehndi the WORLD!!!
I have been busy lately!! And today I have been no end of sleeeeeeeeepy... I had a string of little naps this afternoon, in between the kids coming back and bugging me... arg!
Let's see... life has been a marathon beginning with "Last Friday" in Hillsborough on the 30th of June (WendyMehndi pix here)... housecleaning, socializing, and general fun over the Fourth of July weekend... going to melting at the Festival for the Eno on the 4th... then "First Friday" in Apex on the 7th to get my raging Red Hair touched up by my friend Cheri' Booth and to do Mehndi there... then up to Roxboro Saturday the 8th for fun at my friends Jamie & Don's place for a party... I brought my Mehndi and glitter, and I think I mehndi'd just about everyone there! It was so fun!! Here's some WendyMehndi pix from the party... Two of our friends have asked if I'd consider designing their tattoos for them! WOW!! I would be so honored!!!
Our order for supplies came in - thank you to speedy shipping from Amerikan Body Art ! Erika Harrison can always be counted on for fast efficient service! I ordered more essential oils to terp my Motherload of Henna from Turkey, more glitter supplies, and a sparkly face-painting set. Sometimes kids see me doing mehndi and they want a face-painting, instead of something that lasts so long.
Also, Terry and I are getting ready for Trinoc*coN 2006 in Raleigh - we're going to display our art and do mehndi! Gosh I'd love to go down to Atlanta for Dragon Con... sigh.
Well, toodle-oo...! Quinn & I are eatin' Clementines - we love those little Clementines!!
