Update
It bothered me that no one's updated lately. So here I go...
Michael's party last Sunday went okay. There were so many people there! SO many people I didn't know! It was my job to take everyone's coats, but as the day went on and my mom kept making me Cosmopolitans (it's her cocktail du jour) I completely lost track of whose coat was whose. But i didn't care so much.
The theme of the party was "get drunk and cry". It started in the evening when my mom (who was popped) decided to let me know how proud she was of me by hugging me a lot and crying. And then later, my dad's friend Gene (some of you guys know Gene- the Luigi to my dad's Mario) got really drunk and ended up telling my dad he has lung cancer and the doctor gave him 3 months to live. My whole family was bawling over that. It was so awful. It turns out, Gene just got drunk and exagerrated for some reason-- apparently terminal lung cancer in reality is a skin cancer scare. no cancer at all. and now my mom's really mad because she believes he ruined her party. But anyway...
Gene brought his crazy girlfriend Terry. She had a high ponytail which was made of fake hair. I think she was drunk when she got to the party or else she's just out of her mind. She told my little cousins Lauren (who's 13) and Rebecca (she's 17), "If you can't be good, be good at it!". And then she winked at them and walked away. Oh. My. Gawd. And then she visited me and my cousin Samantha to tell us that we were snobs and she usually doesn't hang out with snobs but we were "nice snobs". And then she fell down in my dining room. Really. She was good entertainment part of the time, and then part of the time I really thought that she's out of her damn mind and could probably kill someone. She's not welcome back into the King household, that's for sure.
I bought a new phone today! Woo! A motorola razr v3. Very nice. It really wasn't much money at all because my mom gets 45% off phones at Cingular (Century 21 discount) and there was a $50 rebate. But I still almost hyperventilated over spending that much money on a phone. I'm just way too cheap. But I guess that can be a good quality, so good for me.
And now I cannot think of more to type. Merry Christmas Eve Eve everyone!
