3k HORSE was frustrating. We started out playing 5-handed during the limit holdem and limit Omaha rounds, which should be much to my advantage, but I was missing and they weren't folding, so I quickly dropped over a third of my stack in the first 20 minutes. Stabilized the ship and eventually got to 12k after making a hero call in Stud-Hi w a flush draw vs a guy showing a board of Q88Q. Five-handed went to six-handed when Greg Mueller showed up in the seat to my right, which def hurt my equity. Six-to-eight were Phil Hellmuth (who had been blinding off for 3 hours), and Maureen Feduniak. Never did much and then the table broke. Next table was much nicer. Marcel was playing his unique loose-bad style, but it was good enough against these guys. He was at 40k after 4 hours. Never had nothing. Eventually the blinds and antes got so big that my still-starting stack was worth 2.5 hands. A couple all-ins, and I was all out. Would like to rerun that one a few times.

Presently, I'm heading over to the $1500 NL shootout. Having played maybe 100k sit'n'gos, I think I might not be dead money.
