(no subject)
Slava helped me call Walter Sunday morning so I finally got to talk to him!!! I was so so happy!!! He is okay, had food poisoning but is better now. Talked for quite awhile, it was so nice. Oooo I went to Anika's for yummy shushkabobs (sp?) and daquiris!! hehe. it was great. We made a fire and cooked it. Then went to DQ to see Lianne and get ice cream. We ran into Patrick there and we wanted us to come see Batman with him. so he gave us all freee passes! What a sweetie! The movie was actually good, I thought it would be a total boy movie but I liked it.
Went to PJ's sunday and fell in love with the cutest puppy ever. Half beagle, half boston terrier. I seriously considered buying it. But I called Walter because he is truly the only one who can convince me if I am making a horrible or good decision. Lol he knew what I wanted before I even told him! He was like "NO you are not buyign a puppy" He reasoned with me and I guess made me see that it isnt the hottest idea right now. I still think he would change his mind if he actually saw Bambi. (Yes I named her).
Tuesday I started my new job. There is so much to know; the computer system is pretty crazy. But I had Sarah, the other receptioist there with me so it was fine.
Lianne left for Germany and Italy yesterday for 2 weeks!! It was so weird without her. But she called me so its all good. The reception was perfect from her cell phone. And then she sent me a text message to tell me the family she is staying with in Germany is awesome so Im really happy. She was put by herself so at least the family is nice.
I was on my own at work yesterday!! It was so busy. A few times, I had two phone calls at once, and a line up of ppl waiting to pay!! But it was fine. The girls were impressed with how fast I did everything. They are great!! There is so much gossip tho, wow. I try to just listen to them and not say too much back. Laine is cutting my hair on monday... for free! Oh the benefits of working there!
Today I am probably going for lunch if i ever get out of my pjs. Then I work 4 till 9, or whenever closing is done.... its a long process. No plans for the weekend. To me, Canada Day is just a dumb excuse to get drunk. Who needs to justify their actions with an excuse as lame as Canada Day? Most ppl who party hard July 1 prob dont know why it is even a holiday. *rolls eyes*. doesnt seem like cook county was a whole year ago does it Anika?? That was really fun tho!! too bad they werent playign again this holiday. But they are playing July 9th, so that will be a party!!
