Guess what? I have a lump of cartilage in my wrist that's not supposed to be there! I have an official mutation. And it causes my wrist to not bend...fun stuff, eh? Apparently the best way to fix it is to have a "simple surgery" and cut out the lump. I must say I am somewhat opposed to someone slicing open my wrist....but we'll see. I also had acupuncture needles stuck in my arm. I was too afraid to look, but I could feel them. It didn't hurt, but it was a very strange sensation.
What kind of an update is this? Informing the masses of my bodily mutations?
...Mr. Henderson (or Ken Henny, as he will now be referred to as) is coming on the 2nd Barkley Sound trip! Yay! I'm really hoping I made the right decision in switching trips. It was Trip One with friends vs. Trip Two with no friends but with Green Day and fantastic cousin from Alaska whom I haven't seen in years and is coming all this way to a concert we already have tickets for. ...So essentially I abandoned my friends... ... ... I'm a terrible person. Go ahead, slice open my wrist. Hey, come on, be realistic. I'll have the chance to get to know people I don't know very well, and from all the past reports of Barkley Sound being an amazing experience I can't imagine it not being fun. Stepping out of our comfort zones is a good thing to do. *braces self*
Time for tellytubbies...I mean, time to go sleep because I have to be on the water at 9 tomorrow morning.
And, to everyone, take care of yourself. I know we're told this all the time by P.E. teachers and educational programs, but health really is important. Physical and emotional.
