It just occured to me that the vast majority of my public posts are sheer statements of appreciation for the simple pleasures of life. They tell of the sort of fleeting moments of joy or wonder that would likely be fast forgotten if I were not to write them down. I know I greatly enjoy dancing, but I tend to forget just how much it excites me until I experience the rush of it- even the simple act of making plans to dance gets me going. I just found a private instructor in my area who's willing to teach me, so I'll be working on my Bronze. Woot!

Moments of real connection are like shooting stars.  They are beautiful, and brief, and subtly change you.  They are somewhat unpredictable, and if you experience a meteor shower of connection and feeling, it is breathtaking.
