The end is in sight

Almost there. . . almost there. . .

I am so looking forward to the summer, perhaps more than I ever have in my five years at UPEI. Freedom is on the way!

Of course, freedom means working full-time once again, but that money will be put to good use. The good part about work is that once the shift is over, it's over. I'm really looking forward to seeing people again, as I'm starting to forget faces. Hopefully I'll be through all the work before Empathy_Man heads off to cook out of town. 'Course, I'll be heading out of town myself, most likely in August, to go live in a steel town that I'm pretty sure is where they filmed "Silent Hill".

Alas, it seems I will miss the dungeon crawl yet again. I'll be busy writing a paper on androgyny in manga and Japanese theatre. Despite my best enthusiasm (after all, I get to take a hobby and make it count as academic), I'm getting tired of writing. This year will be a first --- no summer courses! I suspect there will be frequent trips to the library to make up for that.

Freedom is on the way. . . and with it will come many things that I have wanted for some time, yet cannot really grasp as being at hand.
