Wasting away...well, here in my apartment
I think I just wasted a day of my life. You ever do that? I went to work, sat around, stared at the tv, and really did jack shit. I am rather ashamed of myself. The day would have been better had something, anything been accomplished. Oh wait, I did at least throw some candy in the kids' stockings. Being the old man of the group means I have to do stuff like that. Also included in old man duties are things like bailing people out of jail, eating your leftover pizza, and spoiling the grandchildren.
Yeah, that made no sense at all. But then again, I am still a little delirious. I think the illness will be done with in another day or so. If it isn't, some voodoo may be necessary. Does anybody know any? Seriously. Forward me pages from sacred books and shit.
Shit, 2006 is almost over. That is a sick thought. I remember when the world was worried we were even going to make it to Y2K. Now its seven years later and I don't know what really has changed with my life. The answer. I got older. Isn't that amazing? Not. That might as well have been Borat talking there.
Anybody else seen Celebrity Paranormal Project? I am hooked on that show. Who would have thought that B list celebs would make ghost hunting so interesting. Now, granted Ghost Hunters on Sci Fi is more interesting, CCP is more entertaining. It makes me laugh to see how far Coolio has fallen. If I had a chance to go do one of those shows, I would take it in a heart beat. Chances are that I am all talk right now and would cower in fear when it came to crunch time, but I at least want to do it. Would you all do a show like that? It can't be too bad. If you watch CCP, they get the dumbest people they can find, so that they can scare them easier. Plus there is a chance that they just have production assistants running around banging on walls and such. That probably pays well. Maybe I should look into it. Anyways, on one of the newer episodes, there is this playboy playmate named Bridget Marquardt who was smarter than anybody else who has ever been on that show. Apparently she has a Masters degree in Communications and is hot in addition to that. She took command and even has some fetish for ghosts. Send me on a hunt with her. Maybe we'd find some cold spots.... ooo, dirty mind tonight.
Anyways, tomorrow is St. Nick day. I like to call it my day, but that really isn't the case. It used to be fun growing up and all. Maybe it will be again this year.
