I think I am almost over this avian flu I had. I think. That might not be worth much since I am not sure I am capable of a coherent and intelligent thought anymore. Its been crazy lately in all aspects of my life. Work today was all over the place and luckily I walked out of there still feeling like gold. Still, HR needs to get their shit together and figure out why they haven't adjusted my pay rate. I wonder if it will get fired if I wander up there and threaten to pistol whip every one of them. Wait, that is the kind of thing that only works on TV.
Shit, speaking of TV, I missed the big fall finale of Heroes tonight. I wonder what happened with Hiro, Peter, and the Cheerleader. My guess is that it was exciting. I may have to download that sometime tomorrow.
To get out of my funk, I went to Madison with Jay, Sarah, and Erin. It was fun. We went to Trader Joe's where I got a cheap ass Advent Calendar...and one that isn't about Jesus! Which is fine by me. Then we ate at Cheeseburgers in Paradise. AMAZING. Mini cheeseburgers are just about the greatest thing ever invented. I bet you didn't know that. Then the other three made me wander into some store called World Market. It is an interesting little store. Jason got me distracted in the candy section. I was not overly impressed, but for 9.99 I could have gotten a tube of yard long licorice whips. The red ones, not the crappy black ones.
What is amazing is the little Mad Libs electronic game that I bought the other night. Jason, Erin, and I were hysterically laughing several times tonight. A good laugh like that is hard to find. I almost forgot how funny those things were when I was a kid. They need to make more of a mainstream comeback. That would be good for the world. And it would rock for kids because it teaches language arts. If you all are lucky, one of these infamous mad libs will be posted later this week.
Aight, time to watch some Celebrity Paranormal Project before bed.
