Once Upon a Time: "The Queen is Dead" (2.15) Thoughts

Now that the season is at the half way mark, I have to admit (as a fan of the show) that this season has a lot of problem. Not just in the pacing and character use/development, but in the major reasons for their villains to be villains as well as the redemption story line.

long live the queen )

once upon a time, drama angst and anger

I have a feeling that they are trying to do way too much in S2, which means a lot of rushed plots with huge plot holes, I also think they over esteemed how interesting a lot of the new characters and plots are.

I have yet to watch last night's episode, but my understanding is Cora's whole reason for things isn't all that great.

I was confused about that with Cora as well. Maybe she was just so unnoticed that the king didn't realize who she was. I don't know. I know this show was written by "LOST" writers; I just don't want "Once Upon A Time" to turn into "LOST".

I never felt sorry for Snow. Honestly, everyone has something happened to them and you go on with life or get left behind. And who said that the Charmings are the "good guys"? I don't think they're good guys.

Based on the way this season has gone, i have a terribly feeling that "Once" is slowly becoming the next "LOST". I am seeing a lot of the same issues from "LOST" appearing on "Once" and it really annoys me that they are going back to things they know don't work.

Snow needs to be proactive. Good is proactive. The show (and town) seem to see the Charmings as the good guys, but. . . they are ok at best. Truthfully they don't seem like they were that great of rulers, as much of their time was spent dealing with Regina, and they never even did a good job with that.
