Once Upon a Time Thoughts (1x19)
Once Upon a Time is back! And with a Rumpelstiltskin episode, too. Brilliant.
- So, is the Bae is Pinocchio is August theory out of the running? Or. . .?
- Could August (whom I'm now 95% sure is Pinocchio) ill/dying because he became human via magic? And now that magic is no longer there?
- August remembers. Is it because Gepetto(sp?) put him through the wardrobe?
- So. . .did Bae end up in our world two hundred years ago?
- David visiting Kathryn in the hospital rubbed me the wrong way. It's nice that he cares about her (I like to think Abigail and Fredrick were friends with Snow and Charming), but. . .the scene felt off to me. Am I alone?
- The War Counsel was at MM's welcome home party! How awesome was that?
- David showing up wasn't so awesome. Dude, you basically told her that you thought she murdered your wife! Give it time.
- The letter from MM's class was just hilarious.
- Sidney, Sidney, Sidney. Love really does make people do stupid things on this show.
- RC as Gold/Rumpelstiltskin was amazing tonight. He was heartbreaking in his reactions/hopes/wants with Bae and August. But, so dark and scary with his dealings.
- Loved that Bae called him a coward. Seems like all the people he cares about and lets down call him a coward.
- Now we know. Rumpelstiltskin couldn't let true love break through, because he needed to make his Curse. He needed to find his son. He needed to stay powerful. It's honestly so heartbreaking to know that. And, in the end he lost both of them. :(
- We've been told Emma won't believe Henry until S2 or S3, so I'm assuming the promo for the last three episodes are toying with us. Misdirection if you will. Still, they look intense and I cannot wait to watch the last three episodes!
