Harassment

I should have known better . . . moving into a 55+ manufactured home park is not all that it should be. I like to be with others around my age, but just like those 60+ apartments or villages, there are detractors. Mostly elderly ladies who like to gossip, spread rumors and generally make life miserable for those they take a disliking. Recently we had someone here sending denigrating letters full of nastiness and bile to others in the park.

The management came back against that ASAP and made it clear they would NOT tolerate that sort of behavior. Good for them.

Because I prefer to spend time by myself and feel uncomfortable around other people in groups that I don't know all that well, I have come under the nastiness of several old biddies who live here. Because I wish not to partake in some of the "social" events here I am accused of being a recluse. I don't see it that way, though. I am friendly to everyone who says "Hi!" to me. I grow a great flower garden display for everyone to enjoy and I am willing to loan my expertise to anyone who needs it.

I don't know whether it's because I tend to stay to myself or because I don't recognize the advances some of the "ladies" put on for me or because I am true to my GF and don't respond to those "inappropriate" advances or what, but there are ladies and some men here who have a distinct dislike for me. I ignore them and go my way usually.
NOW it's gotten personal. While my brother visited and we went out to do things around Port Angeles, someone came into MY yard, went to my utilities box, opened it, and shut off my water supply. I thought the park was experiencing a problem with the water and went without water for 24 hours. Then I got suspicious and found what had happened.

What they did was malicious mischief and set up a health hazard by doing that. That's harassment and a blatant attempt to cause me and mine harm. I don't know who did it but I have wildlife cameras watching everything that goes on. I will catch them and then the legal action begins!
