It seems I was right about fishing being the way to go for food right now. The floods seem to have been good to our aquatic friends. And it appears Argent is quite the natural fisher.
[There's a trill from off camera, and Ray moves the PCD to show Argent sitting on the table, quite happily (and messily) eating a fish of his own]
As the smokehouse is still in process of being repaired and drying out, and I only have a limited amount of salt, this bounty is far more than I can consume alone. Thus, I would be happy to share.
Oh, and I do hope no one's been foolish enough to drink anything except rain water or water that's been boiled. Intestinal illnesses are no fun.
