Considering the rain, I'm sure some of you are dealing with flooding already. Or leaking. Let us all hope this rain lets up soon or there is going to be serious property damage.

I've lost half my garden already, and the most recent load of meat I was smoking. Word of wisdom, since I'm sure this moisture's making ruin of most people's stores. Get the ruined meat out and away from your house as soon as possible. The weather's going to make hunting hard for a lot of critters, and some might get attracted by the smell. Last thing any of us need right now is ravaging beasts as well.
And keep your clothes dry as possible. There's be mold enough from the wood after this. Lanolin's good for waterproofing, and most of us should have a decent supply of that I assume. Works best on wool cloth of course. [He holds up the fabric he's working with]
