(no subject)
ugh....work is tiring! I wish I had a stunt double so I could send him to work for me at night....and I could still wake up early and play my guitar and write my music. I love writing...I used to hate it for some reason....but lately it's what I live for.
As far as the Ellenville show...the amount of people I've gotten to agree to come up for it is....ready for this...?
ZERO! I can't get anybody to go. I don't even know if I can get my cousins to go up there. It's NOT that far people....it's just over an hour away. I've seen people drive farther to go to malls! Oh well. what can ya do?
there's even a certain someone who shall remain nameless who I couldn't even get to listen to a new song I sent them weeks ago. as if they were putting it off to prove a point or to get back at me for some reason. :(
it's after 7:00am right now and I just got home from work. I'm extremely restless so I don't know how i'm going to go to bed. tomorrow (today for the rest of you) I have another practice at 4:30. We practiced once so far....and it sounded as if we practiced no less than 2 or 3 times. So hopefully today's practice will sound as if we've practiced no less than 3 or 4 times. maybe by the show next week...we'll have about 10-12 proverbial practices in. which is 4-5 in the real world and 17-18 in dog practices.
my stomache hurts....I shouldn't have had that bran muffin and decaf.
ooh...we bought a new tent for next week. The plan all along was to buy the biggest tent we could find so Dino and Ashley's tent would just look plain silly next to ours....but then those bastards went out and bought a 9 to 10 person tent and killed my whole idea! >:o
so then I found a 12-14 person tent for about the same price....but when I looked at the diagram with the pictures of the little sleeping bags lined up....i decided it was just plain silly to get a tent that big unless I plan on parking my Blazer and Dino's jeep....and still have room for our own atmosphere complete with storm activity.
so I bought one that pops up in 3 easy steps! :-D and if last year was any indication of how talented Dino and Ashley are at putting up a tent 1/3 of the size they have now....i'm bringing the video camera!!
