I'm recording the vocals for a new track....unfortunately it's only a demo and the only way to hear it is to come up to Ellenville. After that it'll probably be a long time before i record anything to be released. So...get your thumbs out of your butts and get up to Ellenville!!!
I've written 4 new songs just for the show and am really excited about them. Honestly i'm really excited about music in general for the first time in a while.
For some reason lately I've been listening to Foo Fighters. I don't think I've ever listened to one of their albums all the way through. And in the past three days I've listened to 3 full length albums. And while it still may not be my thing...it's a far cry from how I used to feel about them and David Grohl. It's not that I hated him...he was just part of a movement of music (post grunge) that I was very anti. And I guess I never got the opportunity to allow him to redeem himself by listening to his stuff. I now feel like he is an extremely talented songwriter and had a lot of offer music after Nirvana.
