I imagine I'll go into more detail in the future, but my interview with HPB went well. Assuming nothing happens to block me at the district level, I'll be working at the new HPB in OKC in March. Except in March the job will be in Ft. Worth, which is an interesting story ( Read more... )

HPB is Half Price Books, the company I was working for in Texas before I came up to OKC to work in the church. :)

We do live in OKC! But they're opening a brand new store up here, which means quite a bit of installation work. Apparently their new system for doing this is to put together the store at the regional warehouse first, price everything, put it on the shelves, etc, and then box everything up and ship t to the new location. So for the month of March, they'd like me to come down to Ft. Worth and help them do all of those things. And then in April, they'll ship everything up to OKC and finish the installation up there. :)

Sadly, no. But I know some people there, so. It's not required that I do it, but I would like to start getting a steady pay check as soon as possible.

It's a firefox add on that chooses your icons for you. It's handy because I have 130 of them and end up using the same five all the time. :p
