he comes to us as one unknown

I couldn't sleep last night because I couldn't breathe through my nose. Seriously, we're talking like maybe 4 or 5 hours of sleep. It was incredibly annoying. Judging by the way I've felt all day and the state of my nose currently, I suspect there will be similar problems tonight. Damn it.

But! Anyway!

SSSSSSSSSSPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN

I'm sure you can hear me screaming with the rest of fandom about SAM AND DEAN GROWING OLD TOGETHER.

(Though, HA, I totally expected Dean to make a "talkin' 'bout my gggggeneration" joke when he said "Hope I die before I get old." And damn it, that song is soooo stuck in my head now.)

BUT UGH SAAAAMMMMMMM. And his adorable belief that some day they'll retire and get to sleep in and have a home and all of these things that I imagine Sam thinking about. And Dean, wanting to go out in a blaze of glory, bullets flying, because one time was apparently not enough.

GOD. BOYS.

I adored Barry Bostwick. He can be on my TV anytime.

Dude, did anyone else know that the two dudes that play Charlie are related?! John Rubinstein is Michael Weston's dad! How crazy is that!? Although randomly Michael Weston isn't actually listed as being in this episode on imdb, so that's INCREDIBLY helpful. But whatevs.

GROWING OLD. TOGETHER. SAM HAD A STORY LINE ALL TO HIMSELF. RUBY WAS BACK. THEY WERE REMINDED THAT THE WORLD IS ENDING. AND DEAN DID NOT ONCE WHINE ABOUT HIS TIME SPENT IN THE PIT. NOR DID HE TALK ABOUT CLIMBING OFF OF ANYTHING. IT WAS VERY NICE.

I got nothing else.

sam and dean are ridiculous, spn
