now i'm making up for lost time
They had my goodbye weanie roast at work today, even though I've still got two more days. Tons of food, hot dogs, chili, cheese, chocolate cake, mac and cheese (by special request from moi), chips, and other things that start with the letter c. Got some presents, a new purse, a scarf, and The Zombie Survivor's Guide that Mario inscribed "When ammo's low and blunt objects ain't cuttin' it, call [Dean's number]." PERFECT.
Man, I love my coworkers. Every now and then I wonder why it is I want to leave. I mean, I know why. I know there are plenty of times that I've been pissed as hell at work and everything it stands for, but there have been more good times than bad, for sure.
Also today picked up the new Charlaine Harris, All Together Dead, for 30% off at B&N. SO EXCITED. :D
So, yes, I guess it's been a red letter day, for all that it's a tetch bittersweet.
