Road Trip
I am meeting up with a friend of mine that is coming from Texas to present a paper at OhioState tomorrow. I can’t wait! The youngest and Mandy are driving me. I get turned around enough as it is during daylight hours let alone evening time. Not taking Kenny as he got Charlie horses going to Tappan and that is a shorter trip. Gary is taking a ½ day to stay with him for me.
We are going to have dinner at the Schmidt Haus in Germantown. I have been there before and it is excellent. I am treating the kids as they do so much for me. I really am doing it more for Mandy truth be told. She loves to try new things and this way, she can. Plus there were little shops to explore.
For those that live in Texas and Oklahoma, a 150 mile, one way drive ain’t nothing! I just wish gas prices were a bit more tolerable.
