The Eagles have landed!
OMG! The kids, Kenny and I just returned from a very relaxing almost 2 days at Tappan. Not only did I sleep the whole night 11:30 - 7:30, but my blood sugars were 100 (very good for me) and I got to see the changing of the guard of the pair of nesting eagles about ½ mile from our property! Was super cool! I think one of them was circling around last night, but I didn’t have the binoculars to be sure.
I also got my vehicle tags for my truck and 2 trailers and the boat trailer this morning. I spent $331 for 2 year tags. Not at all as much as I thought the increase would be. I only have to get my license (will get that next trip).
Watched some movies and chilled. Maybe the next trip we will really do some in-depth cleaning. Water needs to be turned on too, but only after Jason fixes one of the pipes. Ooh! To have hot water available!
I still am reeling about the non stop sleep I had!
I could (and have) kicked myself for not learning how to make the distant pics on my digital camera work. Hopefully I will be able to take pictures that actually do come out next time.
The only damper on the entire trip was that I caught Koji eating rat poison. I spent a few unpleasant hours watching over him.
