So, yes, the rumors are true, I did see Billy Corgan live.
Jimmy sold his extra ticket, which meant that guy had to be with Jimmy to get his ticket. This guy had already seen them twice before last night, and had waited in line with his friends since 10am that day. He was 12th in a line of 800. I was with Jimmy, Jimmy was with the guy (from Delaware), which meant I was at the front of the line. This all means that, yes, I was was able to be standing next to the barriers, right next to the stage. So, I got to spend the show within 10 to 5 feet of Mr. Corgan.
The opening band, on any other night, would have been great, but I just wanted the Smashing Pumpkins to come on. They played for 3 hours, which was pretty amazing. He is alot better guitarist than I had imagined, and they put on one of the best shows I've seen. My ears are still ringing.
Today, I thought I was going to be tired and it would be awful at work, but by the grace of God, today was awesome as well. In a couple of weeks I'll be working in the ER, interviewing patients on the medication history.
