All those drugs can't be good for a man.

It is customary in our culture to speak well of the dead, especially the famous dead. This is hardly surprising; your admirers will remember you long after your detractors have moved on. But still, eulogising is inherent in our culture.

Of course, lots of us -- especially on the net -- like to go against cultural norms, just to be difficult, or special. Or, in some cases, because we can see the whitewash of history as it it laid on, and it's kind of disturbing to see it.

With that in mind, I think it's quite important to get my position on Charlie Sheen out there before he finally goes to that great crack den in the sky. This can be divided into three parts.

1) Platoon was a genuinely good movie, and the Hot Shots films were a highlight of my childhood viewing.
2) I have watched about 10 minutes of Two And A Half Men, and I didn't laugh once.
3) It should not be forgotten that Charlie Sheen has a history of violence towards women. He gets away with it because he's famous. He really shouldn't.

Now, by way of an apology for that brief episode of seriousness, have something weird and whimsical.
