In the past couple weeks...

I've been to see my reheumatologist again. She's suggested putting me on adalimumab. If we can get approval for it I'll be starting it in the next couple months. I didn't do much last weekend. Allie was working on Saturday and I stayed in all day until Allie came home and Bill came over. We got chips and watched The Pink Panther which I'd never actually seen in full. Very funny.

Thursday started with a visit to the rheumatologist. I wish I could say she had really good news for me, but she didn't. Last Friday I continued my Cronenberg film festival with Scanners. It was a little more straight forward than some of his other films that I've been watching lately, but I still enjoyed it for what it was. Tuesday of last week I made another trip to Portabello Market to pick up some more Jerusalem artichokes. Little else happened that day apart from Allie and I ordering pizza (a rarity) and watching a copy of The 40-Year-Old Virgin that I picked up cheap a while back after hearing good reviews. I won a copy of the first game last year and played a big chunk of it with Da when I visited home. I don't know that I'll get around to this one, but the trailer's entertaining...

I spent last Wednesday reading and playing Thief: Deadly Shadows for the most part. Shamefully, I wound up cheating my way through the level called 'Shalebridge Cradle'. Watched A Very Long Engagement on Tuesday night. I enjoyed it and found it intriguing, but despite having the same director, a couple of the same actors and a similar style to Amélie, it didn't really have the charm of the that film. I'm still trying to decide whether to be impressed or not... I have the feeling that it'll be buggy as hell, but it'll be interesting if they pull it off.
