After explaining his less-than-interesting dream, a man leads his friend out to the alley behind a Denny's-ish restaurant. Then - suddenly - a monkey person leaps out at them screaming, "BOOGA BOOGA BOOGA!"
There's that and a couple lesbian sex scenes and there you have it: Mullholland Drive. It's a movie that doesn't make sense unless you research various hypotheses on the internet.
